The CanScreen T1D team aims to develop a screening tool that is suitable for the general population of newborns and children in Canada, regardless of who they are, where they live, or what they believe in. This goal is known as health equity, which ensures that everyone has access to quality healthcare. We recognize that gathering input from people with diverse experiences is essential to making sure the screening tool is effective for everyone.
